Wood Smoke Mitigation Campaign – Networking
AWSI may interact/network with and encourages interaction/networking by representatives, the County, municipalities and individuals to communicate and expound on:
- Wood smoke emissions, health effects and exposure
- Wood smoke observations as to particulate, visible and malodorous emissions
- Wood smoke related laws as to options, application and jurisdiction (venue)
- Wood smoke complaints
- Wood smoke mitigation
These interactions and networking may entail:
- Corresponding with, calling, and meeting with representatives and officials,
- Sitting on and participating in County and Municipal committees
- Educating the public as to wood smoke issues in public meetings.
